The Make the Pope Pay petition is now closed.
A big thank you to everyone who signed our petition calling on the Prime Minister to ask the Catholic Church to pay for the Pope's visit to the UK and to relieve the taxpayer of the estimated £20 million cost.
Over 25,000 of you signed the petition in just three weeks and we delivered it to the Prime Minister at No.10 on March 4th .
We have now joined forces with other groups to launch the Protest the Pope Campaign and thank everyone who signed the Protest the Pope petition on the No.10 website.
