Hello {{{salutation}}},
If you've not done so already I hope you'll book tickets to the Secularist of the Year awards' ceremony and lunch on Saturday 19 March in Central London. Members tickets are just £40 (non-members £50) and include a three course lunch and welcome drink.
I always look forward to Secularist of the Year, to hearing your nominations (the weird and the wonderful), to celebrating the work of inspiring secularists and human rights activists and getting the chance to meet so many supporters and friends of the NSS.
The £5,000 Irwin Prize for Secularist of the Year award is presented annually in recognition of an individual or an organisation considered to have made an outstanding contribution to secularism and human rights. The award is kindly sponsored by NSS honorary associate Dr. Michael Irwin. This year the awards will be presented by NSS honorary associate Julia Hartley-Brewer.
Last year's event was considered our best yet and we hope that this year (our 150th anniversary) will be even better. Help us make this a great event by nominating inspirational secular heroes, joining us for the event and spreading the word.
I hope to see you there.
Best wishes,
Terry Sanderson
President
