Over the last year many individuals and organisations have made outstanding, and often incredibly brave, contributions to secularism. We hope you can join us on Saturday 28 March to celebrate their achievements at the Secularist of the Year 2015 awards - hosted by cartoonist and author Martin Rowson.

Tickets are now on sale, priced at £40 for members (£50 non-members).

A three course lunch with drinks will be followed by the announcement of the winner and the presentation. Winners in recent years have included Turkish MP and human rights campaigner Safak Pavey, Human Rights campaigner Peter Tatchell, Dutch MEP Sophie in 't Veld, and Southall Black Sisters - for their support of black and Asian women's human rights. In 2013 the prize fund donated to girls' education in honour of Malala Yousafzai.
