Let's end compulsory worship in schools

Thank you for supporting our campaign to end compulsory worship in schools. With your help the petition has now passed 5,000 signatures and many of you have asked what more you can do to support the campaign, so here are a few ideas:

- Emailing your friends and family in your own words is the best way to encourage them to sign.

- You could also take the time to share a link to the petition on Facebook or a tweet using the hashtag #endcompulsoryworship and asking your followers to sign.

- Write to your MP telling them you've signed the petition and ask them to call on their party to commit to ending compulsory worship in schools. You can find and email your MP through writetothem.com

- You could also write about your experience with the collective worship requirement. Sharing your experience in a Facebook post or even a blog for our website, like Alison Fenwick, can help draw more people's attention to the problems caused by this anachronistic law.
