2015 Renewal reminder

Your membership renewal is due on 1 January

Dear {{{Salutation}}},

Thank you for your support over the last year. It has helped us to ensure the Holy See is held accountable with the United Nations to issuing a damning report on the Catholic Church's handling of its worldwide child abuse cases. Your contributions have also enabled us to challenge the powerful religiopolitical lobby closer to home.

Without your support we wouldn't have been there to expose redaction of exam papers by faith schools, or persuade Ofqual to prohibit the practice. Without the generosity and support of members like you we wouldn't have been able to challenge sex discrimination in schools and universities or continue our campaign to oppose faith schools and address other religious privileges in education. This year we've once again been at the forefront of challenging threats to freedom of expression, and in alliance with other groups defeated a plan for a new bill to outlaw "nuisance or annoyance".

These are just a few of the successes we have achieved this year, and none of them would have been possible without you. You are the NSS. We receive no financial support from anywhere beyond your membership subscriptions and donations.

For us to continue campaigning for a secular Britain, we need your continued support. Your membership is due for renewal on 1 January 2015. Please renew today. If you renew by 31 December 2014 you will be able to take advantage of this year's membership rates before they are increased in the New Year.

If you have recently renewed your membership, thank you so much.

Receiving regular contributions helps us to increase our commitments with confidence. If you would like pay for your membership by regular direct debit, please complete a direct debit application online or download a form and return it to the address shown.

Alternatively you can print this email and send it with a cheque. Please amend any information where required.

With thanks and best wishes for 2015.

Terry Sanderson
President
