  • Don't be discouraged if you get a generic response or one that seems to dismiss your concerns. elected representative get a lot of letters. A polite follow up may have more of an impact and get you a more thoughtful response. Even if your representative disagree with you, it's important to show them they have constituents who care about these issues, so that secular concerns can't be ignored without cost.
