For over 100 years we have campaigned for the disestablishment of the Church of England. This means ending the Queen's position as both Head of the Church and Head of State.

We also lobby for the removal of the 26 unelected Church of England bishops who currently sit in the House of Lords as of right. We campaign for a secular House of Lords with no specific religious representation whether ex-officio or appointed, whether of Christian denominations or any other faiths.

We also campaign against the growing influence of religion on Government and the increasing desire of the current Government to involve religious bodies and individuals in the decisions of state.
