Marlene Dietrich – an affectionate tribute - SOLD OUT

Conway Hall, London
Saturday 16 Feb, 2013 7.30pm

This show is now SOLD OUT

Join Terry Sanderson on an entertaining trip through the life of one of the 20th century's greatest icons.

In this show we'll look at Dietrich's amazing movie career with the help of generous clips from her best films and then examine - with the use of rare archive footage - her medal-winning opposition to the Nazis during WWII.

This mesmerising evening will conclude with a screening, in full, on a big screen, of Marlene's fabulous one-woman show with which she toured the world. Recorded in 1963 in Australia, this is Dietrich at her peak. She is accompanied by Burt Bacharach and his orchestra.

"Marlene was a force of nature and after this show, we fell in love with her all over again."

"Fabulous is a word that could have been invented for Marlene, and this show is a stunning eye-opener. We laughed, we cried. Great!"

"Great music, great films, fascinating anecdotes and fantastic heroism that I was completely unaware of. What a gal!"
