Report on Church & State Presented By The National Secular Society

The below paper was presented to a private seminar hosted by the University College London Constitution Unit at on 11th and 12th July 2006. It was attended by principals from the Church of England (led by their constitutional expert the Bishop of Winchester Dr Michael Scott-Joynt), other religious groups, secularists and academe. A representative of No 10 Downing Street also attended. The Seminar was addressed by Lord (Douglas) Hurd of Westwell CH CBE PC.
