Baroness Young of Hornsey

Baroness Young of Hornsey OBE is a crossbench peer.

Her early career was as a residential social worker in the London Borough of Islington and an actress. More recently she has served on a number of public bodies including English Heritage's Blue Plaques Committee and as a commissioner on the Royal Commission on Historical Manuscripts.

She is active on ethical issues and is Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Ethics and Sustainability in Fashion.

She has supported us on secular issues in parliament.
